Postdoctoral Researcher & Research Engineer
Abdelhak Hidouri is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Engineer specializing in intelligent communication systems, artificial intelligence, and network security. His current research focuses on Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), as well as the integration of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) into connected and autonomous mobility frameworks. His work aims to improve network reliability, scalability, and safety in vehicular and aerospace communication systems, leveraging AI-driven models for real-time decision making and adaptive control.
Hidouri earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science, where he investigated security and resilience in Named Data Networking (NDN). His doctoral research introduced machine learning and reinforcement learning-based intrusion detection and cache pollution mitigation techniques, contributing to the advancement of secure data-centric network architectures.
Building upon this foundation, his postdoctoral research explores the intersection of AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and networked intelligent systems, focusing on their applications in vehicular, aerial, and space communication networks. He is particularly interested in how AI-enhanced networking and autonomous decision systems can enable safer, more efficient, and more sustainable connected infrastructures.
